Easy Wedding

You’re too busy to organise a wedding from scratch – but you’d still like to have a fantastic day where you’ve made all the choices, without busting the bank. Easy Weddings last 6 hours and including seated dining and the opportunity for music and dancing – amazing value for money, with the hard work left to us.

Please note: Premium dates on Friday to Sunday in Summer – November to March – are only available if booked less than four months before the wedding date, or for earlier bookings if a min spend of $12,000-$15,000 is met.

Concierge weddings are able to be booked at any time, for any wedding day, with no restrictions on availability.

Dinner Wedding

Getting married, then going out for dinner way to have a wedding with no hassle, on a modest budget. Trouble is, you still have to organise the celebrant, photographer, cake and other things. Now you can enjoy the informality of a wedding and meal while we take care of all the wedding details to make the occasion special.

Styling Options

Mix and Match Packages For a Unique Look

  • A variety of floral styles to choose from that will  give your wedding a coherent overall look

Working with our venue florist makes deciding on the floral styling for the day a breeze. There are a series of standard themes, including Boho Chic, Vintage-Rustic and Pop Art, or you can go for something totally different! Packages also include hire items such as a neon sign, vases, green wall & more.

Tui Hills

Get your slice of heaven at this enchanting venue nestled in the bush of the Waitakere Ranges. You’ll feel a million miles from the hustle and bustle of downtown Auckland which is just 30 minutes away.

Fully renovated in 2019, Tui Hills brings together fresh, modern facilities with character and charm of the original venue hall. The native garden theme throughout will give your wedding a uniquely kiwi feel.

Whether you’re marrying in the secluded Kowhai Glade with its famous rotunda, or enjoying canapes and bubbles in the shade of the Nikau Pavilion, you and your guests will love being at Tui Hills.


Gracehill Vineyard Estate

Marrying next to a lake on manicured grounds, with grapevines in the background is a dream come true for many couples, and it can be for you at the elegant Gracehill near Kumeu.

It’s little wonder it’s known as Auckland’s favourite venue. Gracehill has hosted weddings since the beginning of the century, building a reputation for quality service at a reasonable cost.

Not that you’ll be thinking about that during your ceremony at the pagoda or on the lawn, or while having photos taken amongst the vines, beside the lake or on the bridge over the stream.

Plated Meals

The most popular option for wedding parties, plated meals are the elegant dining solution that delivers everything you might expect from a quality restaurant. At Tui Hills this extends to a fine dining option.


A great way to cater to a wide variety of tastes and appetites, family style dining at Tui Hills serves sharing plates down the middle of the table. Guests love being able to help themselves without having to stand in a buffet line.

Buffet Service

Buffet meals are still a favourite for many, combining practicality with a little nostalgia. You can choose from a wide range of hot and cold dishes, including dessert offerings, with canapes or grazing table to start.


What better way to start your dining experience than with a range of canapes! These are usually served in the golden hour straight after the ceremony and/or while the happy couple are off having their photos taken.

Over The Bar

Whatever sorts of drinks you and your guests would like, we can help. As well as the standard house wines and beers, you can add a premium wine list or request a particular label. Couple’s cocktails are a specialty.

Wedding Cake

Cutting the cake is an age-old tradition that completes your wedding. Our fabulous cake makers can create a one, two or even three-tier cake with a selection of flavours, decorated in the latest styles.

Finding the right celebrant can make all the difference to your ceremony. They’ll help you organise your vows, help settle your nerves and guide you along the way on the day.

Just as importantly, they can set the tone of the ceremony – serious, lighthearted, irreverent, solemn – and make your guests feel welcome and included.

You can choose from our group of our hugely-experienced preferred celebrants or perhaps you already have one in mind such as a family friend. We’ll guide you through the process of finding the right one.


…Your Photographer

Every wedding creates lasting memories. For that reason, it’s important that your wedding photographs are taken by someone skilled in capturing such precious memories, making you and the day look wonderful.

That means a safe pair of hands from an experienced pro. We’re fortunate to have a selection of seasoned wedding photographers for you to choose from.

You can select, based on their style, knowing that we high-recommend their work. In years to come you’ll be happy to show off those wonderful images. We also have recommended videographers available.


…Your DJ or Live Music

There’s nothing like getting up on the dance floor to celebrate your newly-wed status. Both venues have air-conditioned dance floors for your comfort, and a huge selection of DJs and musicians to choose from.

Every DJ is a seasoned professional experienced in playing the sort of songs that much the tempo of the revelers, keep the dance floor full, and send guests home with tired feet.

There’s a wide variety of genres, sounds and sizes of live music acts we have available, including solo guitarists or instrumentalists for cocktail hour. You get to see a clip of them performing before choosing.

Questions & Answers


Q: How many people can we have at a Simply Wed wedding?
A: There are no minimum guest numbers. The maximum for both venues is 100 people, including the couple marrying.

Q: What times are the weddings?
A: The usual start time is 4pm in summer, earlier in the other seasons depending on the month. Dinner weddings can start a little later. We'll advise you on the best timetable.

Q: What days/dates are available?
A: This is constantly changing depending on our other bookings. As a general rule, easy and dinner weddings are easier to book in off-peak times.

Q: How does the pricing work?
A: Each type of wedding has its own pricing structure. As a general rule, there is a venue fee plus a per-person cost for food and drink, with extra special items, such as use of the Tui or Vineyard suites, additional. The digital proposal that you'll be sent calculates all this for you and enables you to make changes that are automatically re-calculated. Each type of wedding has a series of minimum spend amounts determined by the day of the week and time of year.

Q: How do we choose what we want?
A: It's easy. We send you an online proposal that includes menus, information about all the choices, celebrants, photographers and so on, plus a link to book your wedding.  Most importantly, you get to choose combinations of items to get to the price that fits your budget.  The total cost calculates automatically. No surprises!

Q: Why is it a good idea to use the vendors on the Simply Wed list?
A: Each wedding is a one-off. That means you need to be sure about the quality of the work. The celebrants, vendors, DJs and others that we recommend are known and trusted.

Q: Will there be time for everything I want to do?
A: Our weddings allows ample time for the ceremony, speeches and photographs. Time for dancing is included in all packages except the dinner wedding.

Q: Can I extend the time on my Easy or Dinner wedding?
A: Due to the pricing and staffing allocations for these shorter weddings, the time allocation has to be strictly enforced. If you think you'll need more time, we can recommend a different package that will achieve what you want.
