Why choose a 6-hour Luxe Pop-up wedding?
Each couple have their particular reasons for wanting to avoid hassle and keep costs manageable.  The difference with Luxe Pop-ups is that there is no compromise on quality or the amount of time you spend with your guests.  Every bride and groom wants a memorable day, which is what Simply Wed delivers – the wow factor without the stress factor.
How does a Luxe Pop-up wedding meet the particular needs of each couple?
The high standard of venue, food, drink, flowers and photography is constant, and we work with couples to make sure that the day suits their needs, and the needs of the guests as much as the stress-free format enables.  That’s one of the reasons there’s a pre-wedding consultation with your celebrant and photographer.
Is it possible to schedule a wedding on a different day to the ones listed?
The ability to offer luxury packages at reasonable prices depends on maintaining the advertised schedule.  Hopefully there is at least one date which is suitable.  If none of the dates suits you, please let us know and we’ll see what can be done.  Tui Hills, for instance, is open for weddings from Wednesday to Sunday throughout the Summer Season, and Friday to Sunday during the rest of the year.
How much food is there, will it be enough?
The food is a combination of canapes and grazing platters (plus wedding cake of course) providing enough food to constitute a full meal and still have some left over for the extra hungry.  The cuisine is modern New Zealand-style with the best of fresh seasonal ingredients.
Can we have a sit down meal?
Yes.  Guests can enjoy a sitdown meal of canapes and grazing platters, or a grazing buffet can be set up.  This allows for the head-table-and-guests layout.  There is also ample seating for meals served from trays in the modern “walk and fork” style.
Can couples provide food and drink, or other parts of the package to save money?
Each wedding day has been carefully organised to make sure that each couple gets the best of everything.  Luxe Pop-up weddings are a total package, without a DIY element.  The only exception is that couples can provide their own wedding cake – sometimes friends or relatives like to make that a special gift, although that doesn’t reduce the package price overall.
Can couples do the styling of the venue?
The nature of a pop-up wedding is that all styling is done for the couples beforehand, making it a stress-free day.
Is it okay if guests bring their own alcohol?
BYO alcohol is strictly forbidden and could endanger our liquor license.  Any alcohol found on the premises, including in carparks, may be confiscated and returned to the owners after the wedding.  Simply Wed takes host responsibility seriously and will not serve intoxicated people.
